What is KICKBOX?
KICKBOX is an global KSB innovation program that gives you the opportunity to work on your own idea and develop it further. On your KICKBOX journey you will be supported by coaches who will help you test and evaluate your idea, while you always remain the owner of your idea.

The KICKBOX process
Validate and pilot your idea!
Welcome!
Start working with your IDEA
Has your idea made it to the RedBox phase? Then you can get started! You have 2 months to validate your idea.
RedBox
VALIDATE
You will receive coaching and access to an online platform with experts. With a budget of 1000 Coins, you can also take advantage of various Services such as legal advice or technical support. In the end, you have to convince a jury with a pitch to invest further in your idea.
BlueBox
PILOT
Was your idea convincing during the pitch presentation? Cool, congrats! You have reached an important milestone. Now the four to six-month BlueBox phase to pilot your idea begins. You can test your idea with real customers. You will also have access to coaching, sprint workshops, and helpful innovation modules. At the end of this phase, you will once again have to convince the jury with a pitch.
GoldBox
IMPLEMENT
You were able to prove that there is real potential behind your idea? Congratulations! You have reached the final GoldBox phase. Now you are ready to implement your idea. Depending on the idea and the size of your project, there are different ways and forms of implementation you can choose. You will be supported and accompanied on this path with different resources and tools.

Business Innovation Lab
Julian heads the Business Innovation Lab at KSB. TheBIL would come into effect later on in the process. It would work on those Kickbox ideas that have a new kind of business model character to them. The BIL would then design and propose a partly validated business model and its
underlying solution over a longer period of time.
